Before You Start

IBOplayer is not available directly on the Amazon App Store. You will need to enable installation from unknown sources on your Firestick first. Don't worry — the process is simple and takes less than 1 minute.

Part 1 — Enable Unknown Sources on Firestick

Open Firestick Settings

From your Firestick home screen, navigate to the top menu and click on Settings (the gear icon on the far right).

Go to My Fire TV

Inside Settings, scroll right and select My Fire TV (on older models this may be called Device).

Select Developer Options

Scroll down and tap Developer Options. If you don't see it, go back and tap About → click on Fire TV Stick 7 times to unlock Developer Mode first.

Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

Toggle Apps from Unknown Sources to ON. Confirm when prompted. Your Firestick can now install third-party apps.

Part 2 — Install Downloader App

Search for "Downloader" on the App Store

Go back to the Firestick home screen, click the Search icon (magnifying glass) and type Downloader. Select and install the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews — it's free.

Open Downloader and Enter the IBOplayer URL

Launch Downloader, select the URL bar and type the IBOplayer APK download address. You can find the latest official download link at iboplayer.com or contact Varodatic support for a direct link.

Download and Install the APK

Tap Go. The APK will download automatically. Once finished, tap Install, then Done. IBOplayer is now installed on your Firestick.

Part 3 — Connect Your Varodatic Subscription

Open IBOplayer

Find IBOplayer in your apps list (swipe right on the home screen and scroll down to Your Apps & Channels). Open it.

Select "Xtream Codes" Login

On the IBOplayer welcome screen, choose Xtream Codes as your connection method. This is the format your Varodatic credentials use.

Enter Your Varodatic Credentials

Fill in the three fields using the details from your Varodatic welcome email:

Server URL · Username · Password

Start Streaming

Tap Connect. IBOplayer will load all your channels and VOD content. Navigate to Live TV → Sport to find premium channels, sports channels and all your favourite channels.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • App won't install — make sure Unknown Sources is enabled (Step 4)
  • Channels not loading — double-check your Server URL, username and password for typos
  • Buffering on streams — switch from Wi-Fi to a wired Ethernet adapter for your Firestick
  • App crashes on launch — clear the app cache: Settings → Applications → IBOplayer → Clear Cache
  • Can't find a channel — use the search bar inside IBOplayer or browse the Sport/Premium categories
