What is IPTV
01What exactly is IPTV?
IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television. It's a system that delivers television channels and on-demand video content over an internet connection rather than through traditional satellite or cable infrastructure. Instead of a dish or a coaxial cable coming into your home, all your channels and movies arrive through your existing broadband connection — the same one you use to browse the web or stream music.
02How is IPTV different from Netflix or Disney+?
Netflix and Disney+ are on-demand only services — you choose what to watch and when. IPTV combines live television channels (sports, news, entertainment — exactly as they broadcast in real time) with an on-demand library. With Varodatic, you get 30,000+ live channels plus 150,000+ movies and series — all in one subscription.
03Is IPTV legal?
The technology of IPTV itself is completely legal — it's simply a method of delivering video over IP networks. Many official services including sports channels, BT TV and Hulu use IPTV delivery. The legality of a specific IPTV service depends on whether it holds broadcasting rights for the content it provides. Varodatic operates as a service; users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with local regulations.
04Do I need a satellite dish to use IPTV?
No. That's one of the biggest advantages of IPTV. No dish, no aerial, no cable installation is required. All you need is a broadband internet connection and a compatible device — a Firestick, Smart TV, Android box, phone or computer. If you can stream YouTube, you can use IPTV.
05What internet speed do I need for IPTV?
For standard HD streaming, a minimum of 10 Mbps is recommended. For Full HD (1080p), aim for 20 Mbps. For 4K streams, you'll need at least 40 Mbps with a stable connection. These are per-stream requirements — if multiple people are streaming simultaneously, multiply accordingly. A wired Ethernet connection always performs more reliably than Wi-Fi.
06Can I use IPTV abroad or on holiday?
Yes. Your Varodatic subscription works anywhere in the world that has an internet connection. Whether you're in a hotel in Dubai, a villa in Spain or an apartment in the US, you can access the full channel list and VOD library using the same credentials. Some channels may have regional restrictions, but the vast majority are accessible globally.

You can install the app on as many devices as you like; only the number of simultaneous active streams is limited.

Xtream Codes is the most widely used IPTV connection system. Your Varodatic subscription gives you three credentials: a Server URL, a Username and a Password. You enter these in your IPTV app once, and it loads your full channel list, VOD library and EPG automatically — no playlist files to manage or update manually.
18Do I need a Smart TV to use IPTV?
No. Any TV — even a basic non-smart TV from 10 years ago — can display IPTV content by plugging in an Amazon Firestick or Android TV box via HDMI. The streaming device handles all the processing; your TV just needs an HDMI port and a power socket nearby.

Support & Troubleshooting
25How do I contact Varodatic support?
The fastest way to reach us is via WhatsApp at +447446123310 — average response time under 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also email us at team@varodaticiptv.net or use the contact form at varodaticiptv.net/contact. We respond to emails within 1–2 hours.
26What do I do if my stream keeps buffering?
Start by checking your internet speed (minimum 10 Mbps for HD). Then switch from Wi-Fi to Ethernet if possible, clear the IPTV app cache, increase the buffer size in player settings, and try an alternate stream link for the same channel. If buffering continues, contact support — we can switch you to a less-loaded server node immediately.
27What should I do if a channel is not working?
First check if other channels work — if yes, it's a specific stream issue. Try long-pressing the channel to access an alternate stream link. If no alternate is available, contact support with the channel name. We monitor our channel list continuously and broken streams are usually restored within a few hours.
28My EPG is empty — what do I do?
An empty EPG usually means the EPG URL hasn't been configured in your app settings, or the URL has expired. Contact Varodatic support to get your EPG URL, then enter it in your IPTV app under Settings → EPG. Alternatively, IBOplayer and TiviMate can pull EPG data directly from your Xtream Codes server — look for "Use Provider EPG" in EPG settings.
29Can I use a VPN with Varodatic?
Yes. Varodatic works with VPNs. A VPN can be useful if your ISP throttles streaming traffic — particularly in the evenings. Connect the VPN to a server geographically close to you for minimum speed impact. Note that a VPN is not required for Varodatic to work — most customers stream perfectly without one. Only add a VPN if you have specific buffering issues linked to peak hours.
30What is Varodatic's uptime and reliability?
Varodatic maintains a 99.9% uptime across its server network. We run redundant infrastructure — if one server node experiences issues, streams are automatically rerouted to a backup. During major sporting events (European club football finals, major tournaments matches), we pre-scale server capacity to handle traffic spikes without service degradation.
